IT STARTED AS A COVID HOBBY, AND THE REST WAS HISTORY…

In March 2020, while cleaning out my closet, I stumbled upon random packs of tie-dye ink bottles. Side Note: At the time, I was laid off due to Covid-19, which explains my "closet cleaning" project. Nonetheless, curiosity kept me from trashing the bottles.

Covid-19 put a damper on much in our lives including my sister's 24th birthday. However, she decided to have a small group gathering with two friends in our family backyard to celebrate. That's when I decided to use those tie dye bottles from the closet as my first tie-dye experience. It was a great way to have crafty fun while brightening up her birthday.

Let’s fast forward to April…

Luckily, one of my sister's friends at the party had tie-dye experience and gave me some very helpful pointers. After unraveling the t-shirts the next day, I was surprised at the outcome and thought, “(pondering emoji) Hmm... this is cool, but I think I can do better…” And "the rest is history"!

After that day, I’ve continued creating to explore tie-dye and grow as an artist. At this point, I’ve probably have made THOUSANDS of tie-dye pieces between myself, friends/family, coworkers.

Why do I love Tie-Dye? 1) It’s a fun, meditative process, 2) I love art and I love fashion 3) I can lovingly share timeless pieces that radiate good vybes. Consider it my little contribution to world peace.
